“modern victorian.” is about my fascination for the time period denim was created in: the Victorian era. Through history, denim is associated with the masculine working class. I wanted to deconstruct that connotation and through a more feminist approach: make denim more feminine and modern. Using the research of the Victorian era, fusing historical and present styles and silhouettes, I invite people to wear and appreciate new fashion that is inspired by the past.
